The Department of biology and medicine currently has 16  members, including 4 professors and 7 associate professors. There are two supervisors and and five master's supervisors among the faculty members. We are mainly engaged in teaching more than ten courses, including General Biology, Introduction to Life Science, Biotechnology of Medicinal Plants, Cell Engineering, and Biological Separation Engineering.

More than 100 SCI scientific research papers have been published in recent years by members of the teaching and research department. They have also been awarded several grants by the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the National or Zhejiang Provincial Major Scientific and Technological Special Project for the Creation and Production of New Drugs, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
